Nobody wrote theatrical.
Nobody wrote overprotective.
Nobody wrote imaginary ailment.
Facts do not care about Margaret’s opinion.
Then the pediatric allergist produced another document.
A form Margaret signed nine months earlier when she babysat Noah for one afternoon.
Emergency Allergy Plan.
Avoid peanuts.
Carry two epinephrine injectors.
Call emergency services after administration.
Margaret’s signature appeared at the bottom.
She knew.
Completely.
Daniel saw the form during his attorney meeting.
According to Rebecca, he stopped defending her after that.
For approximately six hours.
Then Margaret called him crying.
