Chapter 11 - NOAH SAID NO TO NANA

A child psychologist met Noah.
Not because I wanted him interrogated.
Because the court needed recommendations about family contact.
Noah was three.
He could not understand custody.
He understood food.
The psychologist asked.
“What happens when you eat peanuts?”
Noah answered.
“I can’t breathe.”
“Who helps you?”
“Mommy.”
“Does Daddy help?”
Noah thought.
“Daddy gets mad.”
My heart broke.
Then she asked.
“Do you want to see Nana?”
He immediately shook his head.
“No.”
“Why?”
May you like
“She gives bad cake.”
