The security footage from the courthouse was released during Vanessa’s detention hearing.
The video showed Kiora standing near the staircase.
Vanessa crossed the hallway.
She shifted the briefcase into both hands.
Then she swung it deliberately into Kiora’s side.
Kiora stumbled.
Marcus emerged from the staircase and caught her.
There was no accidental collision.
No confusion.
No missing context.
The same news programs that repeated Vanessa’s version replayed the attack.
Public opinion changed within hours.
Kiora did not feel relief.
She felt anger at how much evidence a woman needed before people accepted what her body already knew.
Vanessa’s attorney argued she acted under emotional distress.
The judge denied bail.
Vanessa had access to foreign accounts, false passports, and security networks.
She had already fled once.
Conrad remained hospitalized under guard.
He agreed to cooperate after learning Vanessa’s attorneys planned to blame him for Julian’s murder.
He described the entire conspiracy.

“Then why did you leave the second drive at the hospital?” Agent Reed asked.
“We did not find it.”
“Who reached the compartment first?”
Conrad looked confused.
“The compartment was empty when we arrived.”
Julian had moved the drive again.
The torn envelope was intended to direct Kiora toward the operating room.
Vanessa never understood the second hiding place.
Kiora’s relationship with Julian allowed her to decode what his sister could not.
