Investigators identified seven women whose cases followed the same pattern.
A wealthy husband began an affair.
The wife reported confusion, anxiety, or memory problems.
Judith filed emergency custody motions.
Martin provided medical opinions.
Judge Pike approved temporary orders.
The woman lost access to her children.
Property and trust rights shifted to the husband.
Two women later died.
One disappeared.
Four remained alive.
The oldest survivor was Erin Walsh.
She had spent six years inside a private psychiatric residence.
Independent doctors found no condition requiring confinement.
Erin remembered Judith clearly.
“She told me the truth did not matter once enough professionals agreed I was unstable.”
Erin’s husband gained control of a manufacturing company after her confinement.
Victor Dane purchased it for a fraction of its value.
The same investor had built his fortune through families Judith dismantled.
Rachel was never only a target.
She was the next transaction.
The women agreed to testify.
Judge Pike resigned before authorities could suspend him.
He attempted to leave the state.
Police stopped him at a private airport.
His briefcase contained cash and a passport under another name.
He admitted approving Judith’s orders without reviewing evidence.
In return, she directed wealthy clients toward his brother’s investment firm.
Martin remained missing.
Victor Dane appeared on television.
He called the investigation an attack on legitimate business.
Then Bennett Medical’s board received an anonymous offer.
Sell the company before Lily’s trust activates.
The offer expired in twenty-four hours.
If the board refused, someone would release confidential patient records stolen from Thomas’s servers.
The board contacted federal investigators.
Thomas’s flash drive contained an emergency shutdown key.
But the key required a password.
The only clue was a video of Thomas standing beside Lily’s empty future nursery.
He looked into the camera.
“Diane will know the word.”
I did not know it.
At least, I thought I did not.
Then I remembered the final thing Thomas said before leaving for the hospital on the morning he died.
“Do not let anyone turn home into evidence against you.”
The password was HOME.
The stolen server access was shut down.
