Mara sat in the front row.

The prosecutor placed the evidence before the court.

Hidden accounts.
Corporate fraud.
The evidence against Richard Hale was overwhelming.

The judge looked at him.

“But I can finally stop lying.”

“Are you accepting responsibility?”
“Yes.”
