Chapter 2 — The Video Nobody Was Supposed To See
The phone inside Emily's apron felt heavier than a piece of metal.
It felt like a weapon.
Not because it could hurt someone.

The truth Victoria had spent the entire evening trying to bury.
Emily looked at the screen.
15 seconds.

"The waitress should apologize."

"And the baby?"

"And when Daniel discovers the truth, it won't matter."
