CHAPTER 5 â THE WEDDING THAT NEVER STOPPED

The guests waited.
Confused.
Shocked.
Whispering.
Then my father turned to me.
His voice softened.
âIâm sorry it took me this long.â
I didnât answer right away.
Because my wedding dress was ruined.
My ceremony was destroyed.
My day was broken.
But something else had happened too.
Something I didnât expect.
Truth had finally entered the room.
My maid of honor stepped forward.
Quietly.
âWe can still continue.â
Someone in the crowd clapped.
Then another.
Slowly, the silence turned into something warmer.
Not a perfect wedding.
Not a fairy tale.
Something real.
I looked at my father.
Then at the aisle.
And I walked forward.
Not into a perfect story.
But into my own.
FINAL SCENE â EPILOGUE (ENGLISH)
The wedding didnât happen the way I planned.
But it happened the way it needed to.
Later that night, my father found me alone on the terrace.
He said:
âI thought protecting this family meant staying quiet.â
I replied:
âSo did I.â
He nodded.
Then looked at the lights of the estate.
And said the final truth out loud.
âSilence almost destroyed everything.â
I didnât answer.
