CHAPTER 5 — THE WEDDING THAT NEVER STOPPED

The guests waited.

Confused.

Shocked.

Whispering.

Then my father turned to me.

His voice softened.

“I’m sorry it took me this long.”

I didn’t answer right away.

Because my wedding dress was ruined.

My ceremony was destroyed.

My day was broken.

But something else had happened too.

Something I didn’t expect.

Truth had finally entered the room.

My maid of honor stepped forward.

Quietly.

“We can still continue.”

Someone in the crowd clapped.

Then another.

Slowly, the silence turned into something warmer.

Not a perfect wedding.

Not a fairy tale.

Something real.

I looked at my father.

Then at the aisle.

And I walked forward.

Not into a perfect story.

But into my own.

FINAL SCENE — EPILOGUE (ENGLISH)

The wedding didn’t happen the way I planned.

But it happened the way it needed to.

Later that night, my father found me alone on the terrace.

He said:

“I thought protecting this family meant staying quiet.”

I replied:

“So did I.”

He nodded.

Then looked at the lights of the estate.

And said the final truth out loud.

“Silence almost destroyed everything.”

I didn’t answer.

May you like

Because for the first time in my life…

I agreed.
