"Who accessed the file?"
His attorney, Daniel Brooks, placed the paper down.
"Your mother."

"My mother is dead."

"Which means someone used her authorization."
Ethan stared at the signature.
The handwriting looked familiar.
Too familiar.
"Who?"
Daniel hesitated.
"Ethan..."
"Who?"
The answer came.
"Your sister."
The room became silent.
Ethan's younger sister, Claire Caldwell.
The person who had cried the loudest at their mother's funeral.

"What did she do?"
Daniel looked down.
"She requested information about Rosa Martinez."
Ethan felt cold.
"Why?"

He opened it.
And his entire body froze.
It was Rosa.
