A museum director walked away without saying goodbye.

Two investment partners checked their phones.

Their legal teams had already sent messages.

Suspend all business immediately.

Across the ballroom, Ethan's board members gathered in a tight circle.

One of them approached him.

"We're holding an emergency vote."

"You can't."

"We already did."

"You work for me."

The older man shook his head.

"Not anymore."

One by one, executives handed their access cards to investigators.

The chief financial officer lowered his head.

"I made copies."

Ethan stared.

"What?"

"I kept every file."

"You promised—"

"I promised because I was afraid of you."

He looked toward Isabella.

"I'm done being afraid."

Claire accepted the hard drive.

"It contains twelve years of records."

The room erupted into whispers.

Shell companies.

Bribery.

Tax fraud.

Witness intimidation.

Everything Ethan had buried beneath carefully staged generosity.

He looked around the ballroom.

Searching desperately for one familiar face.
