Chapter 14 – Bianca's Redemption

Bianca disappeared from public life after the trial.
Months later, Adrian received an unexpected letter.
She asked for only one meeting.
They met at a quiet café overlooking the river.
Bianca looked nothing like the glamorous socialite from the engagement party.
There were no diamonds.
No designer dress.
Only honesty.
"I can't change what my mother did," she said softly.
"But I can spend the rest of my life making sure no one suffers because I stayed silent."
She revealed she had sold nearly everything she owned.
The money would fund shelters for single mothers and children.
Adrian listened quietly.
"I don't know if I deserve forgiveness."
He looked out at the water before answering.
"Forgiveness isn't something you earn in a day."
She nodded.
"I understand."
As they stood to leave, Lily ran toward Bianca with a small handmade bracelet.
"My mommy said kind people can become family."
Bianca's eyes filled with tears.
She accepted the bracelet.
