CHAPTER 3 — “THE NAME THEY NEVER EXPECTED”

The main screen in the ballroom flickered.
Every guest looked up.
A single file appeared:
ACCESS AUTHORIZATION — VERIFIED
Underneath it, a name loaded slowly across the screen.
A name no one had expected.
The room shifted.
Whispers started instantly.
“That’s… impossible.”
“She’s not just a guest?”
The attacker stepped back, his face draining of color.
“No…” he muttered. “That family is—”
I finished his sentence for him.
“—the ones who built the system you’re standing in.”
A pause.
Then I added quietly:
“And I don’t forgive easily.”
The security team moved closer.
Not threatening.
May you like
Not loud.
Just inevitable.
