CHAPTER 2 — “NO ONE LEAVES WITHOUT PERMISSION”

The heir’s friends tried to rush the barricaded doors.

One of them screamed, pounding steel with his fists.

“OPEN THIS NOW!”

The response came instantly.

A calm voice through hidden speakers:

“Unauthorized movement detected. Lockdown protocol engaged.”

Red scanning lights moved across the room like eyes.

Every guest froze.

Someone dropped a champagne glass. It shattered loudly, but no one reacted.

Because they finally understood—

This wasn’t a building anymore.

It was a controlled containment zone.

The attacker turned toward me, voice cracking.

“You’re insane… this is a public gala!”

I tilted my head slightly.

“No,” I replied. “It was.”

May you like

Then I looked toward the stage balcony.

“Until you decided to put your hands on me.”
