Chapter 1: The Door That Couldn’t Be Unseen

The moment I pressed send, everything changed.

Within minutes, my phone began to vibrate nonstop. His mother. His father. His older brother. Even distant relatives I had never met but whose numbers were saved in my fiancé’s contact list.

I didn’t say a word. I simply turned the screen toward them.

Inside Room 237, the silence turned violent.

His mother pushed past me first.

And then she saw it.

Her son. On his knees. Half-dressed. Begging.

The woman who had been my maid of honor scrambled for a blanket, but it was too late. The truth was no longer contained in that room—it had already escaped.

“You were supposed to marry her today,” his father said coldly.

But no one answered him.

Because no answer could fix what they were seeing.
