Langford House had security cameras covering nearly every hallway.
Within an hour, Noah sat inside the estate's private security office reviewing the footage.
Emma remained outside the room, refusing to leave.
She needed someone to believe her.
The recording showed the evening perfectly.
Victoria placing her dinner order.
Emma entering it into the restaurant tablet.
The receipt printing.
Everything appeared normal.
Then another employee entered the frame.
Olivia Carter.
Victoria's personal assistant.
She smiled politely at Emma before saying she needed the order slip to confirm the wine pairing.
Emma handed it over without hesitation.
Thirty-four seconds later, Olivia disappeared into the administrative office.
When she emerged, she returned the slip.
No one questioned it.
Noah replayed the footage three times.
"Pause."
He zoomed in.
Olivia had entered the office carrying one folded ticket.
She exited carrying two.
Chef Marco quietly exhaled.
"That's impossible."
"No," Noah replied.
"It's very possible."
He opened the electronic order history.
The allergy note had been deleted exactly twenty-eight seconds after Emma entered the order.

Emma stared at the screen in disbelief.
"I never touched that computer again."
"I know," Noah answered.
"Because while your account made the change..."
He turned the monitor toward the security footage.
"...you were standing here talking to Olivia."
