PART 2: THE WOMAN DEMANDED AN APOLOGY... THEN THE STORE OWNER ARRIVED
Silence settled over the boutique.
The woman remained on the marble floor, her face burning red while dozens of customers stared.
Then her humiliation turned into rage.
"You assaulted me!" she screamed, pointing a shaking finger at the young woman.
"I want her arrested!"
Several employees hesitated.
No one moved.
The girl simply folded the garment bag over her arm.
"I pushed you after you put your hands on me."
"You touched me first."
The woman laughed bitterly.
"Do you know who I am?"
"I've spent over two million dollars in this boutique."
"My husband owns half the buildings on this block."
She turned toward the employees.
"If she's still standing here in thirty seconds, every one of you will lose your jobs."
A nervous manager hurried over.
"I'm terribly sorry, Mrs. Carlisle..."
He looked at the girl with obvious concern.
"Miss... perhaps we should discuss this privately."
Before the girl could answer, the front entrance opened.
A gray-haired gentleman in an elegant navy suit walked inside.
Every employee immediately straightened.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Laurent."
The owner of the boutique had arrived.
He glanced around the silent showroom.
Then his eyes landed on the young woman.
To everyone's surprise...
He smiled warmly.
"You finally made it."
The woman frowned.
"You know her?"
Mr. Laurent looked confused.
"Know her?"
He chuckled softly.
"Miss Evelyn Hart owns every boutique carrying the Laurent name."
The room stopped breathing.
Mrs. Carlisle slowly turned toward the girl.

The girl wasn't a customer.
She was the owner.
