PART 5: THE WOMAN WHO STOPPED ASKING FOR JUSTICE

Security arrived.
Not summoned by Eleanor.
By Adrian.
A quiet command into his phone.
“No one leaves,” he said.
Eleanor turned to him sharply.
“You would choose her over me?”
Adrian looked at his mother for a long moment.
Then answered:
“No.”
“I’m choosing truth.”
The guards stopped behind Eleanor.
For the first time — she was no longer untouchable.
She looked around the mansion like it had betrayed her.
But Isabella was already walking past her.
Slow steps.
No rage.
No shouting.
Just certainty.
She stopped beside Adrian.
“You don’t need to fix this,” she said quietly.
May you like
“You just need to stop protecting what hurt your son.”
And then she walked away with Noah.
