Chapter 4 – The Fall of Eleanor Whitmore

The next morning, the mansion looked different.
The staff no longer bowed when Eleanor entered.
Instead...
They quietly stepped away.
Adrian had already called the family attorneys.
The security footage had been copied.
The servants had given sworn statements.
Even the head butler confessed that Eleanor had ordered everyone to stay silent.
By noon, the Whitmore Board of Directors gathered in the estate library.
Adrian entered carrying a single folder.
He placed it before every board member.
"The evidence speaks for itself."
Within twenty minutes...
Eleanor Whitmore was removed as chairwoman of the Whitmore Foundation.
Every charitable organization bearing her name suspended her involvement pending investigation.
Her carefully crafted public image collapsed overnight.
As she packed her belongings, she looked at Adrian.
"You'd destroy your own mother?"
He answered calmly.
"No."
"You destroyed yourself."
She glanced toward Noah.
The little boy stood safely beside Isabella.
Smiling.
Protected.
Loved.
Everything Eleanor had failed to understand.

Without another word, security escorted her out of the mansion she had ruled for decades.
She never looked back.
