Every signature was authentic.
Every seal had been notarized.
Every witness was present.
Margaret's breathing became uneven.
"If you withdraw your support..."
"Our banks call the loans tomorrow morning."
The ballroom erupted into whispers.
Several investors quietly stood and walked away from the Whitlock family's table.
No shouting.

Just silence.
