Chapter 3: The Boardroom Execution

At 8:55 a.m., Vance Global’s boardroom was already breaking apart.
Executives whispered in panic. Phones buzzed nonstop. Julian sat at the head of the table, exhausted, hollow-eyed, waiting for a call that never came.
The doors opened.
Elena walked in.
Gone was the soft silk persona. She wore a sharp midnight-blue suit, her presence controlled, deliberate. Two security agents followed behind her without a word.
Julian stood abruptly.
“Elena—what the hell is this? You think you can just walk in here after stealing—”
“Sit down, Julian,” she said calmly.
The room went silent.
She placed a tablet on the table.
“That contains the footage your family tried to erase,” she continued. “Your ex planting evidence. Your assault. Everything.”
Julian’s face tightened. “This is a setup.”
Elena didn’t blink.
“No. This is accountability.”
She tapped the screen.
“And as of five minutes ago, my investment group acquired 51% of Vance Global.”

A wave of shock swept the room.
“You’re done here,” she said simply.
