Nearly a year later, every major news network covered the trial.
Jurors listened to recordings.
Doctors testified under oath.
Several admitted Richard had paid them fortunes to delay treatment and falsify long-term evaluations.
Richard finally spoke.
"I loved my daughter."
Clara stood before the courtroom.
Not in a wheelchair.
On her own legs.
"You loved being admired," she answered quietly.
"You never loved me enough to let me heal."
The courtroom fell silent.
The jury deliberated less than five hours.
