CHAPTER 4: VICTORIA’S LAST MOVE

Victoria suddenly turned sharply toward her security chief.

“Shut everything down. NOW.”

But the man hesitated.

“…Ma’am, we can’t. The system is external.”

Victoria’s breathing changed.

Faster.

Harder.

For the first time in decades, she raised her voice.

“WHO BUILT THIS?!”

Elena answered before anyone else could.

“I did.”

That single sentence hit harder than any scandal, any accusation, any lawsuit.

Julian stared at her.

“You… built my mother’s system?”

Elena nodded slightly.

“Every empire has a foundation.”

“I just replaced yours.”

Victoria’s face tightened.

Rage and disbelief collided.

“You’re lying.”

Elena slowly stepped forward.

“Check your offshore accounts,” she said quietly.

Victoria hesitated.

Then pulled out her phone.

Her hands stopped moving halfway.

Her face went pale.

Every account… frozen.

Every transfer… reversed.

Every hidden asset… exposed.

She whispered:

“…No.”

Elena leaned in slightly.

“I told you,” she said softly.

“You destroyed the key.”

“And the lock was already mine.”
