The cellar door burst open.
Security guards flooded inside.
Behind them walked the host.

The butler stepped protectively in front of the women.

The host sighed almost sympathetically.

One guard grabbed the old man.
Another reached for the daughter.
Then—
Sirens.
Far away.
Growing louder.
The host's smile disappeared for the first time.
He slowly turned toward the mother.
"You called the police?"
She smiled calmly.
"No."
She held up her phone.
"I sent everything."
The daughter had secretly uploaded every document, every photograph, and every recorded conversation from the cellar to multiple investigative journalists the moment they found the evidence.
The phone screen displayed one final message.

The host lunged forward.
